It's summer and that's always a bit of a slow time for the casinos. Nothing really sticks out with the May and June total figures. Sportsbook had a great June revenue wise, but not because of an increase in turnover/handle (actually dropped slightly from May), but because the house bookies had better margins.
We're getting used to records. Combined GGR retail/online was a highest ever number in June, closing at $393m. Both online and retail grew.
Online casino quite flat, while sportsbook revenues up. June 2021 was the 3rd best GGR month ever for the operators.
This means $24m in taxes for the state of New Jersey in June.
FanDuel, come on… Leave some of the market to the other guys. I think some bookies are going on vacation this year with pretty juicy bonuses. Revenues up from $30m to $38m, impressive. The other guys not really trying to catch up.
Borgata (Borgata, Party, Pala, Bet MGM) back on top again. Impressive last 12 months.
